For every trip I plan to Algonquin, my friend(s) and I sit down and pour over a canoe routes map, sketching out possible routes until we come up with one that we feel is the particular route for that trip. Invariably I then throw out the piece of paper which has all our route sketching, thereby losing the other route possibilities, and forcing us to repeat the entire process the next time we sit down to plan an Algonquin trip. WELL NO MORE! I am beginning to compile a list of such trips here for easy reference. Almost all the trips are designed as loops, if you are willing to put in the extra time and effort to do a car shuttle then clearly the possibilites expand greatly. Enjoy!
